Arney Crescent, Remuera, Auckland
Project Background
Extensive renovation and extensions to one of Auckland's oldest reinforced concrete houses. Originally constructed circa the 1890's.
Our design re-braced and strengthened the existing building to accommodate an upper-level extension.
Works also included underpinning the existing foundations to allow the construction of an entire new lower level, including a library, wine storage room, and access to the new5-carr garage via a new tunnel.
Further works on the site included a new guest wing and the removal of some of the original reinforced concrete load-bearing walls internally to form new spaces.
