Project Background
Airey Consultants Ltd were engaged to provide civil and structural engineering design services for this 3 level apartment building located on the shores of Lake Hayes in Queenstown.
Structural
01-Dec-2018Airey Consultants Ltd worked collaboratively with Patterson Architects and Triple Star Contractors during the design stage to ensure a smooth construction process.
The building is constructed using a mixture of reinforced concrete and reinforced masonry blockwork walls and retaining walls. Floors between each apartment are constructed using precast concrete flatslabs. The building has a green roof /balcony area and several bespoke concrete chimneys
