This project was a residential vacant lot development covering an area of 7.6ha in Snells Beach, north of Auckland. Our involvement began at the concept stage and included expert witness services for the private plan change application, civil engineering design of the subdivision infrastructure, structural engineering design of large retaining walls, and construction monitoring, contract management and resource consent project management services.
Project Challenges
- Achieving the desired zoning (changed from large lot to single house).
- Designing and constructing a new constructed wetland for stormwater management in the location of an existing wetland.
- Design, construction monitoring and commissioning of a new wastewater pump station.
