Our Queenstown Office has an opening for a Civil Engineer/Project Manager experienced with the preparation of bill’s of quantities, engineering estimates, tender and contract documents and the management of civil engineering contract works under NZS 3910 and the Construction Contract Act.

You will work with designers and engineers to develop initial estimates and designs from client concepts. Update estimates through the detailed design phrase and manage the civil engineering facets of projects through the planning and consenting process with councils.

Once consented and in construction you will manage the contractor and liaise with the client and engineering design teams to co-ordinate any design changes and updates required to documentation.

The right candidate should be a self-starter and keen learner, having been exposed to and be familiar with three- waters, development, pavements and roading projects and holding a relevant engineering qualification.

Candidates with contractor and/or consultants experience will be considered for the role dependent on experience.

As a general civil and structural engineering practice you will receive exposure to all facets of the industry and see projects though from concept to completion. This role will see you working with Senior Engineers on existing and new projects and producing drawings and design calculations using software packages such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D,12D and Civil Site Designer.

The right candidate should be a self-starter and keen learner, having been exposed to and be familiar with three- waters, development, pavements and roading projects and holding a relevant engineering qualification.
