Prime Minister Opens Sustainable Street Lighting Landmark

Modus Lighting in conjunction with Airey Consultants Ltd developed an innovative street lighting approach for the small but elegant Sea Breeze Estate subdivision in Whangamata which saw the commissioning of a new standard of street lighting, which is both efficient in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and by reducing the amount of light spill is environmentally conscious.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the leadership shown by the participants in the subdivision development in bringing the project to fruition and commended the project as an example in sustainable development to other designers, developers and Councils.
